Before the talk this wine, l would love to tell basic information about this wine regions of Chablis!
The Chablis regions is northernmost wine district of the Burgundy region in France. The wines of the Chablis district has four different appellation these are - Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. All these four appellations wines should be Chardonnay 100 % grape variety.
I tasted Chablis from Grand Cru Appelations which mean is highest quality of this regions. Grand Crus Chablis should be minimum potential alcohol %11, maximum residual sugar 4g/l and principal soil types are Kimmeridgian Clay-Limestone. Also, Grand Cru appleations are divided 7 different sub-regions. l know lot of informations should keep on mind but l really love the study and taste wine. So this seven regions are name Bougros, Preuses, Vaudesir , Grenouilles, Valmus, Les Clos and Les Blanchots.
This wine come from Les Blanchots it was very delicate bouquet. extremely white floral aromas such as hawthorn, Acacia and little Linden. l did not get too much fruity aromas. well- harmonious all flavor in the mouth, Ultra-premium Chablis.
